Start with an Aikido beginner course in London

There is no need to mention the benefits of having an active life. It is event more important when you live in a large city such as London and work in an office. Long hours at a desk has quite a bad effect on your back and tends to soften your muscle.

For a good physical and mental health, it is important to do some sport. Especially if you live in London, I would recommend getting an introduction course at Central London Shodokan Aikido (CLSA). Aikido is a combat sport, but contrary to most martial art, it does not aim to harm your opponent, but to dissolve the situation by using your adversary strength against himself. Aikido may seem esoteric, but the style Shodokan was created for university students, and hence is turned towards practical principles that can get taught and learnt.

Aikido can be practised by almost anyone, men or women, adults or children. At Central London Shodokan Aikido Club there is a good mixture of background, any ages and any technical levels.

Aikido is a great way to get in shape and to stay fit. And as well, to meet interesting people too.
